Jessica Fox continues to go from energy to energy with a gold medal double on the ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup spherical in Prague.
On the eve of her twenty ninth birthday, Australia’s Olympic champion Fox triumphed within the girls’s canoe remaining on Saturday, a day after amassing the kayak title.
Fox began because the fourth-fastest paddler and clocked 109.13 seconds to win from Andora’s Monica Doria Vilarrubla with Czech paddler Gabriela Satkova rounding out the rostrum in third on her dwelling course.
The win takes Fox’s medal tally to this point this season to 3 gold, with three World Cup occasions nonetheless to come back in Tacen, Slovenia (15-18 June), La Seu, Spain (31 August – 3 September), Paris, France (5-8 October).
‘Nice option to begin the season’
“I’m so blissful, it was a very tight remaining. Gabi and Monica each put down actually good runs, so it was so shut on the end. However I’m so happy to take the win at present,” Fox stated.
